Today is one of those days when I don’t particularly enjoy being a grownup.
Having to disappoint people in order to take care of myself feels icky and uncomfortable. I don’t like it.
So, I took a little break to stop and smell the hydrangeas. Ma and Pa stopped by for a bit and we all sat on the screen porch and ate some dripping peaches with a cool breeze. (At least I thought it was cool. Ma probably didn’t…)
Back to work now. Here’s to growing up.
