Is it ever more fun to pop a bottle top than in mid-July? Holding a cool bottle of goodness on a steamy-hot day… Come on. What beats that?
Recently I started popping my tops with the most super-awesome bottle opener ever.
And, once again, this little treasure was discovered right here in R-house—actually, in R-garage. Our home’s original owners left a huge tackle box in the garage attic, filled with dozens of vintage fishing lures. Perhaps I’ll give you a peek at those one day soon, but this bottle opener was one of my favorite (and definitely most-used) finds in that box.
It’s straight from Minnesota’s own Grain Belt brewery and I love that it’s just so satisfyingly functional. With words! Plus it’s metal and, well, you know. I kind of have a thing for metal.
Here’s to enjoying any little scrap of metal you might find laying around your house. If you’re lucky, it will be as cool as mine. Ha! Cheers.
