THINKING GREEN

OK so the weatherman promises 60 whole degrees here today. It’s been months since we’ve hit those digits and I’m trying to not get my hopes up too high. It’s not summer yet. Heck, it’s technically not even spring, and there’s snow in the forecast for Friday. But it does have me dreaming of several green things I’m longing for this St. Patrick’s Day:

Green grass

Green trees

Green, in-season, sugar snap peas

Green “no-car” days with R-kids, where we bike to everything we do

In the meantime, I found a green version of my vintage Raleigh, complete with fenders and pedal-powered headlight. Mine is sky blue.

This is exactly the kind of place I wish I was biking to today.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you. Here’s hoping the grass is greener on your side of the fence today.
