Today R-girl played the first six innings of the next 600 or so we will have this spring, summer, and fall, and tomorrow is R-boy’s first Little League practice, which means of course that the weather has now dropped back down to regular Minnesota temps (none of those 60s, 70s, or 80s for us ballgame fans – not even 50s!) so at the game today while the freezing wind was stealing my breath, I was wearing three layers of shirts, my Uggs, a parka, a winter hat, a winter scarf, gloves, a hood, and a blanket.
So there’s that.
But really, can I complain?
Because there’s also this – on the tree out my office window. One month early.
