Spent the day at MOA with R-girl and four fourteen-year-old friends for a belated bday party.
A total pleasure.
Beside the smiles and really sweet girls, I also enjoyed sitting with some Caribou unsweetened iced mango tea and a good book. (Yes, people, I’m finally reading The Help. We can discuss later…)
Party favors came together at the last minute (the perfect pressure, Heather) when I spied a bag of old clothespins I had picked up at the thrift store recently for a different project. I grabbed five, added ribbon and a super-strong magnet, and clipped on some mall money, a mystery ticket to Nickelodeon Universe worth at least one ride, and a stick of gum.
Good to go.
