The other day I was in the mood for a low-stress, zero-cost, fast-impact project so—feeling inspired by my favorite lampshade—
I dug out a couple yards of fringe I’ve collected from various estate sales.
One bunch had been brightening up my studio shelf in its original aqua-colored retro packaging. The other was called in as a last-minute Christmas tree garland last month.
Neither was living up to its full potential.
So I fired up the glue gun and (I’m not kidding) about three minutes later,

Now that I look closer, I see that I could go spend an extra two minutes straightening up my work on one of those shades. Still. Ultra easy.
Whipped up any why-didn’t-I-do-that-sooner projects at your place lately? Do tell!
