I cut a few ferns from the backyard today, in keeping with this week’s I-can-barely-breathe-it’s-so-humid theme. The tropics have apparently moved to town.
And those ferns look deceptively refreshing.
– R-boy just tried to take his shirt off but it was stuck to his skin.
– All of the windows on the main level are so fogged up we can’t see out.
– R-girl was feeling claustrophobic. Outdoors.
– I’m not sure if that was sweat or condensation dripping down my shoulder.
Sticky.
Soggy.
Dripping.
And no end in sight.
But, hey, we can handle it. What’s a little weather drama when you live in Minnesota?
Here’s to not being 30 below!
