FRESH IDEAS

Ok, so I’m a little jealous of Centsational Girl who is already able to browse her local farmer’s market for beautiful, delicious surprises – and snap these amazing shots of real food and fresh flowers:

Centsational Girl for The Both And | Shorts and LongsI can’t wait until I start seeing those same sights here in Minnesota. And, with a few changes I’m hoping to make this year, I’ll hopefully be seeing them a lot more often than I used to.

If you stick around, you’ll hear some more from me on that, but for now, here’s a tidbit I’ll share with you today: According to Shift Your Habit, you can save around $130 a year in groceries by switching from out-of-season to in-season produce.

Of course, I know that amazing people like Heather might have a few other ideas and thoughts on that as well (people that I am watching closely and becoming quite inspired by, but don’t tell Heather. I don’t want to create any undo pressure…)
