Last Friday, not far from where I live, Dear Abby breathed her last, leaving this earthly home for another.
But her legacy, as they say, lives on.
And, at R-house, it lives on here:
On a simple pink couch that, we are told, once belonged to the advice queen herself – and now belongs to us.
A couch that has been in R-house for less than a year but has already seen its fair share of talks, tears, snuggles, struggles, giggles, naps, and life. Along with a whole lot of everyday, ordinary, sometimes slightly messy moments.
Not, I would guess, unlike our Dear departed Abby.
