Had a few rare moments this evening to sit on the screen porch and read. It was heavenly.
Literally a split second after I snapped this photo of a storm whipping in, a huge bolt of lightning flashed across that same patch of sky. It was exhilarating to sit in the midst of the building chaos, feeling half safe, half vulnerable, and totally engaged in an adventure far bigger than me.
Here’s to feeling alive.
