Hi friends! R-kids and I just got back from our favorite place for a summer escape: Jellystone.
Yes! The personal playground of Yogi Bear, Boo Boo Bear, and Cindy Bear—and us, too, for the past few days.
Highlights:
– Endless rounds on the lazy river.
– Endless rounds of free mini golf.
– Endless smiles from wet, sun-soaked kids.
– Oh, and cartoons and movies under the stars.
Ok, but let’s be honest. My actual most-favorite part of this getaway might be this:
Endless rounds from cabin to pool to beach to water slides to mini golf to camp store to pool and back again—without becoming a crabby, exhausted mommy.
Why? Because I did it all from behind the wheel of
my
own
personal
golf cart.
R-kids and I have decided we’re ready to move someplace where we can drive everywhere we need to go via golf cart.
Seriously.
The wind in our hair, the easy-going speed, the cute mini stop signs, the giggle-inducing thrill of taking a corner just a leeeetle bit too fast, the friendly waves from all the other happy golf cart drivers.
There will be golf carts in heaven.
Until then, we’ll just have to keep heading back to Jellystone.
I’m not complaining.
