Been trying to get some pictures hung for a while but the right pictures needed the right frames. Finally worked it out.
1. Found some plain-jane, taupe-y painted frames in all the right sizes from Goodwill: $2 each
2. Scrounged up some gold paint in my little stash of colors.
3. Had another frame I wanted to somewhat match.
4. Sloppily and lightly brushed on some gold paint and roughed it up with a rag and then some sandpaper.
5. Felt pretty good about the quickie, imperfect results and hung the frames using twine – one on each R-kids’ door, and one on the hallway door.
Works for me!
