More often than I’d like
to admit,
I get things backward.
I’ll be sure something is one thing when,
actually,
it’s exactly the opposite.
I’ll think something looks quite black and white when,
clearly,
it’s so not.
But I’m starting to wonder if,
perhaps,
backward does not translate to “bad.”
Maybe backward is just the other side of forward.
And maybe,
sometimes,
backward makes forward
that much more true.
And meaningful.
