Ok, humor me for a minute, kay? I wrote this post last week while sweltering away in unbelievable heat. Trouble is, the lightness of these words just weren’t congruent with where my heart was last week. (I guess it says something about waves that I’m feeling differently about this today.) But now the trouble is, I’m not quite roasting in that same way. Oh well, we’ll just pretend it’s still last week, at least as far as the temps go—because this song does crack me up, and I could use a laugh.
Are you game? Won’t hurt my feelings if you leave me a “you’re so tacky!” comment. It would fit the post, actually.

The first time I heard this song, I’ll admit it reminded me of one person in particular. (Oops did I just say that out loud?)
Anyway, I’ve been grooving to this song while working today, and I just realized that right now this tune reminds me of pretty much everyone out there. Yes, that includes you.

This sassy summer song is Cooler Than Me by Mike Posner. (Of course if you’re cool, you already knew that.) The video is lame, but I like this version of the song because it’s sans swear word. Plus you can download it for free compliments of VitalJuice (track #10 here). Not sure how long that offer will last, but it’s there for now. Enjoy!
